POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for preparing product for final stages of production. This includes inspecting corrugated boxes, closing and coding of boxes before palletizing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure cases have correct lot codes before shipment or storage
- Ensure cases have correct pattern and amount before shipment or storage
- Verify each skid has been properly recorded with correct number of cases and time of
completion.
- Place skid tags in correct places to be shrink wrapped
- Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures
- Responsible for food safety and quality
- Other tasks as assigned
COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to work at a fast pace online with moving product.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Teamwork and ability to work with others
- Excellent eye - hand coordination
