Palletizer Operator

Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 3:45 PM-12:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $19.99 an hour + $$0.25 shift differential

You will work onsite at Conagra's Imlay City facility - Home of the Vlasic brand. You will be assigned to work in the role of Palletizer Operator on the afternoon shift, you report to the Team Lead. You will work directly with your crew leader, fellow operators and warehouse team. You will be available to remain for overtime based on production demand. You will remain on the job until the last case reaches the palletizer which is the final step of the production process.

You will generally work 4:00 p.m. until midnight. Your will earn $19.99/hour plus $0.25/hour shift premium.

What will you do:

The Palletizer Operator operates all Palletizers. You will setup the machines for the proper production run. You will start up the equipment, clear misfeeds, and restart the machine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate Alvey palletizing equipment.

• You will be trained and authorized for lockout tagout procedures.

• You will coordinate change overs with the casing department.

• Maintain machine and surrounding area to correct sanitary condition.

• Adapt to changing situations.

• Work with Crew leader, Quality Team and Team Lead.

• Train, direct and lead employees

• Complete documentation following standard.

• Read and interpret a variety of instructions/documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
