This position is responsible for wrapping all finished product pallets within the assigned module.
Must be knowledgeable about safety regulations and personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as the work environment to prevent workplace accidents.
This position reports to the Lead Operator and Conversion Supervisor.
DESCRIPTION
- Application of the Company’s Core Values in the work environment.
- Obtain a license for the use and operation of the Electric Pallet Jack through a safety training course, accredited by the safety department.
- Verify that released pallets meet the following specifications:
- Correct stacking of boxes on the pallet.
- Boxes properly centered within the pallet.
- Correct Radius labels and sample pallet labels.
- Verification of product release with yellow or green labels, depending on the production order.
- Properly wrap finished pallets, ensuring no loose film.
- Document the order number and weight of each pallet during the shift.
- Transport wrapped pallets to the finished product area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Ensure the Electric Pallet Jack’s battery is in good condition and perform general maintenance on the equipment.
- Do not use the Electric Pallet Jack on Saturdays, as it must remain on charge.
- Work as a team and assist coworkers in identifying and moving scrap (waste materials).
- Leave the aisle clear of unwrapped pallets for the incoming shift and report any issues to the relief operator.
- Submit the finished product report to the supervisor at the end of the shift.

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 6 months of experience in the industry or a similar role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to move constantly and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work inside the manufacturing plant using personal protective equipment (PPE), with exposure to high and low temperatures and loud noise.
- Exposure to ammonia odors and dust in the environment.
