We are seeking a Paid Search Specialist to join our Outdoor Performance platform team. The Outdoor Performance strategic priorities are to be consumer-first focused, lead with power brands, and invest inwards. We will build the Outdoor Performance business by creating focus and power with the consumer. Our marketing structure delivers the necessary brand dedication and functional expertise to achieve our objectives.

As Paid Search Specialist, you will play a key role in paid search traffic to our brands' websites while maximizing conversions and ROI. The ideal candidate would be someone who can constantly push the search marketing channels forward by implementing best practices and identifying revenue-driving opportunities to grow brand equity and revenue. This position will focus solely on the optimization of ad campaigns on digital media outlets and brainstorming ways for our digital campaigns to reach wider audiences online.

As part of the Growth Marketing team, you'll implement evergreen campaigns and key product launches on go-to market schedules across multiple brands to drive sales goals. The position will also be expected to collaborate on seasonal calendars to launch cross-channel campaigns.

This position reports to the Director of Growth Marketing and is a hybrid work schedule based out of our Bozeman, MT office or our Logan, UT office.

As the Paid Search Specialist, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement effective paid search strategies aligned with industry trends, brand goals and business objectives across multiple brands.
  • Oversee end-to-end management of paid search campaigns across various platforms, ensuring maximum ROI and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and site audits to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, such as traffic, rankings, and conversions.
  • Plan and execute paid search campaigns across various platforms for several brands.
  • Ensure all paid search activities comply with specific industry regulations, platform regulations and maintain strict adherence to privacy and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including ecommerce, brand, creative and corporate communications to implement SEM recommendations.
  • Negotiate advertising contracts.
  • Be proactive in research and analyzing changes in marketplace, eCommerce, and and other DM environments.
  • Collaborate with finance staff to set and stay within budget.
  • Assist, as needed, with broader digital marketing initiatives that help drive growth for the site and brands overall.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising or related field.
  • At least one (1) year executing & owning paid search campaigns on various platforms (Google, Bing)
  • Knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, GA4 and SEM Rush (Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications are a plus).
  • Understanding of digital marketing landscape and best practices, website metrics and with direct experience in search marketing.
  • Ability to utilize analytics, business and shopper insights to drive data-driven planning.
  • Intermediate abilities in Microsoft Excel.
  • Execute across multiple brands and priorities.
  • Proactive approach, ability to take ownership and make proactive decisions.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in cross-functional environment.

You Might Have:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI a plus.
  • Outdoor industry experience and/or deep passion for the outdoors a plus.

Pay Range:

$60,200.00 - $95,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
