We’re seeking a performance-driven Paid Search Senior Manager to lead Paid Search strategy across key international growth markets.
This role is responsible for driving Paid Search performance across growth markets, translating global strategy into high-impact regional execution. You will focus on scaling acquisition through localized optimization, while ensuring alignment with broader channel strategy, measurement frameworks, and performance standards.
Reporting to the Director of User Acquisition, this role partners closely with central Paid Search leadership to extend and adapt strategy for regional growth.
Core Areas of ResponsibilityPaid Search Strategy & Optimization
- Lead Paid Search execution across growth markets, including brand, non-brand, and competitor campaigns
- Translate global Paid Search strategy into localized campaign approaches
- Build and scale campaign structures, including match type strategy and query segmentation
- Adapt keyword strategy, bidding, messaging, and funnel optimization to regional behaviors
- Lead bidding strategy evolution, including value-based bidding, tROAS, and tCPA optimization
- Optimize toward subscriber quality metrics (LTV, retention, subscription conversion), not just platform-reported conversions
- Refine account structure to support scale and automation
- Develop localized strategies for growth markets, incorporating regional insights into broader Paid Search strategy
Measurement & Signal Integrity
- Oversee end-to-end signal flow from site and app through MMPs and server-side tagging to ad platforms
- Ensure accurate and resilient conversion tracking across web and app ecosystems
- Partner with Engineering and Analytics to validate event integrity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain signal health
- Reconcile platform data against internal BI and attribution systems to inform investment decisions
Cross-Functional & Strategic Influence
- Work closely with US-based leadership and global growth teams to align priorities and reporting
- Translate Paid Search performance and measurement insights into executive-level recommendations
- Represent Paid Search strategy within broader UA planning and investment discussions
- Influence roadmap priorities that impact conversion architecture and acquisition scalability
- 8+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Paid Search programs
- Deep platform expertise in Google Search (Google Ads), Microsoft Advertising (Bing), and Apple Search Ads
- Demonstrated expertise in campaign architecture, bidding automation, keyword governance, and subscription conversion optimization
- Proven experience optimizing toward value-based and subscription-driven KPIs
- Deep understanding of performance signal architecture across web and app environments
- Strong martech fluency, including:
- Server-side Google Tag Manager
- MMP Postback troubleshooting
- Pixel and conversion tag governance
- Experience with MMPs such as Singular, Appsflyer, etc
- Experience reconciling platform data with internal BI systems and attribution models
- Ability to diagnose tracking discrepancies and work cross-functionally to resolve them
- Advanced analytical capability with strong Excel and BI proficiency
- Experience driving international growth initiatives
