THE ROLE:

At FloSports, we’re transforming the way fans experience sports, delivering unparalleled live streaming and on-demand access to the world’s most exciting events. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Paid Search Manager to join our Performance Marketing team onsite in our Austin office.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the hands-on execution and optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Bing, ensuring a seamless and high-converting experience for sports fans. Success in this role requires a proactive and curious approach, strong attention to detail, and a relentless focus on improving CPA and ROI. You’ll be responsible for building, launching, and reporting on high-volume SEM campaigns, optimizing keyword strategies, and managing automated bidding to drive efficient subscriber acquisition and reactivation.

The ideal candidate has direct, hands-on experience with Google Ads and Bing, a deep understanding of SEM performance metrics, demonstrates precision in their execution, and will bring a passion for sports. If you thrive on managing complex campaigns, optimizing for ROAS, and ensuring every ad group is executed flawlessly, we want to hear from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • SEM Campaign Execution: Build, test, and deploy paid search campaigns within Google Ads and Bing, ensuring accurate setup, proper targeting, and on-time delivery for major sports events.

  • Keyword & Bidding Strategy: Implement and manage keyword lists and bidding strategies to optimize CPA and improve ROAS across all sports verticals.

  • High CPA Mitigation: Monitor and address campaigns with higher than average CPAs, such as branded campaigns, by implementing performance mitigation steps.

  • Performance Tracking & Attribution: Monitor campaign attribution to identify missing last-touch data and provide actionable insights for optimization.

  • Campaign Optimization: Monitor real-time performance to reduce CPA and improve ROI through dayparting and target controls.

  • A/B Testing & Copywriting: Execute A/B tests on ad copy and landing pages, tracking performance to recommend optimizations based on data insights.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with the Content and Analytics teams to verify data validation and ensure cohesive messaging across search channels.

  • Best Practices & Industry Knowledge: Stay current with paid search trends, AI-driven opportunities, and sports streaming industry insights to enhance execution and performance of the channel.

  • Reporting & Business Review: Provide accurate and timely channel inputs for the weekly business review (WBR) report.

  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Deliver quick and insightful ad hoc performance reports to support strategic decision-making as needed.

  • Weekend/Holiday Monitoring: Active oversight of campaign performance, ensuring that high-volume weekend traffic or holiday surges do not exhaust budgets prematurely.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Paid Search (SEM), with a strong focus on building, launching, and optimizing campaigns in Google Ads and Bing.

  • Deep understanding of keyword strategy, Quality Score, and SEM performance metrics including CPA and ROAS.

  • Proficiency in analytics tools and Google Ads Editor for managing high-volume accounts.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track performance, interpret data, and adjust campaigns to improve engagement and conversions.

  • Highly organized, meticulous in documentation, detail-oriented, and thorough, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be local to Austin, TX, or willing to relocate.

BONUS POINTS:

  • Advanced proficiency in Google Ads, including experience with Performance Max campaigns and AI-driven testing.

  • Experience managing automated bidding strategies and integrating first-party data for audience targeting.

  • Experience in streaming, or in subscription-based services, with a basic understanding of customer retention, churn reduction, and reactivation strategies.

  • Passion for sports!
