What we’re looking for
SurveyMonkey is hiring an experienced and highly analytical Paid Search Manager to lead our global SEM strategy and execution. In this role, you will drive growth by optimizing paid search campaigns to acquire signups, generate high-quality leads, build a pipeline, and fuel business success.
As the subject matter expert in Paid Search, you will manage and optimize search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other search platforms to meet performance goals. This role requires deep platform expertise, a data-driven approach, and proven experience managing SEM programs for SaaS B2B organizations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities, exceptional analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset. You will work cross-functionally to align SEM strategies with overarching business objectives and ensure maximum impact.
What you’ll be working on
- Develop and lead SEM strategies to drive high-quality signups, pipeline, and revenue. Align search campaigns on Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other platforms with business objectives and performance goals.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Provide strategic guidance, delegate responsibilities, and ensure delivery of impactful campaigns.
- Drive performance through advanced bid strategies (e.g., tROAS), ad copy optimization, and landing page enhancements to maximize ROAS and improve lead quality.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, leveraging platform expertise (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) to implement innovative strategies and tools that achieve measurable results.
- Analyze and report campaign performance, delivering actionable insights and stakeholder updates through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, brand, creative, demand generation, and analytics teams to ensure alignment in strategy, messaging, and execution.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives for ad copy, landing pages, and bid strategies to optimize efficiency and impact. Explore automated optimization tools for continuous improvement.
- Oversee budgets, ensuring efficient spend allocation while achieving leads and revenue targets.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven search expert with a passion for growth and optimization. You thrive on diving into data, experimenting with strategies, and improving performance metrics to drive the success of our Paid Search program.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience managing SEM campaigns for a SaaS or B2B company, either in-house or agency-side.
- 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring direct reports, with a track record of fostering collaboration, delegating effectively, and developing team members.
- Expert knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360, and tools like
- Proven success in developing SEM strategies optimizing metrics such as ROAS, LTV, CAC, and lead quality.
- Skilled in running A/B tests, refining ad copy, and improving landing page relevance to boost conversion rates.
- Strong ability to present strategies, insights, and performance updates to key stakeholders and executives.
