At Alliance, you’ll find a culture of open communication, collaboration, and innovation. You’ll have the chance to make an impact at scale, while being part of a team that truly exists to serve our practices.

If you’re excited to use your skills to improve the health and happiness of pets nationwide, we’d love to talk with you.

Job Description

This is a fully remote, individual contributor position focused on the hands-on performance management of Google Ads campaigns (with potential for supporting work across Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads), and reports directly to the Director of Performance Marketing. You'll join an existing team with proven workflows and mature processes already in place, and help scale our paid media program by growing profitable volume at our clinics.

Position Description

  • Directly responsible for performance on 40+ practices across our clinic partner network
  • Regularly analyzing campaign performance, identifying potential trends as they occur, and providing cross-functional stakeholders with insights & feedback to encourage positive performance trends while course-correcting negative trends
  • Measuring and optimizing campaigns and collecting lead quality feedback from cross-functional stakeholders to improve performance, beat internal KPI benchmarks, and achieve program goals
  • Ensuring the regular and seamless onboarding of practices onto paid media, including conversion tracking and attribution implementation across multiple conversion paths for single and multi-location practices
  • Brainstorming new ways to target high-value clients and improve conversion, including contributing to A/B testing strategy and identifying emerging growth opportunities
  • Periodically monitoring campaign pacing and budget changes to ensure spend aligns with available demand and prioritizes profitable lead generation
  • Regularly discussing, reporting, and presenting performance to internal team members and regional stakeholders, requiring strong written and verbal communication
  • Partner with regional marketing and operations teams to understand practice-level search demand, seasonality, and business trends, then apply paid media execution to support each practice's needs
  • Partnering with our agency to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues on your assigned practices
  • Holding yourself accountable for the performance of your practices, and being trusted to exercise high judgment in doing what's best for your practices

Qualifications

  • Sharp attention to detail: Highly analytical and detail oriented, able to identify trends as they’re unfolding and spot a needle in a haystack at a glance.
  • Problem solver: When performance looks off, you aren’t satisfied with surface level answers. You want to know the “why” behind it and will dig into the data to find the insights you need to satisfy your curiosity.
  • Google Ads Expert: 3-5 years of hands-on experience directly managing search, PMax, LSA, and demand gen campaigns, including Smart Bidding strategies (tCPA, tROAS), Quality Score management, and auction insights analysis, while successfully reaching pre-defined performance targets (CPL & CAC). Google Ads certification preferred.
  • Comfortable working at scale: Successfully managed 40+ Google Ads accounts while achieving campaign / growth goals. Agency and/or multi-unit experience is preferred.
  • Subject matter expert: Apply your expertise in optimizing metrics like avg CPC, CTR, CVR, and CPA to influence CPL, CAC, ROAS, and profitability.
  • Multi-channel familiarity: While Google Ads is the primary focus of this role, hands-on experience with additional paid channels like Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads is a plus.
  • Platform fluency: While not required, experience with tools like CallRail (lead quality review, call listening, performance investigation) and Google Tag Manager (conversion tracking setup) is a plus, since these will be part of regular day-to-day work

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
