As a Paid Digital Specialist, you will leverage your knowledge of Paid Digital platforms to execute successful full-funnel campaigns that drive quality traffic supporting both e-commerce and retail initiatives. You will have ownership over your channel and work in tandem with Paid Search and Programmatic teams to deliver on company goals. A test and learn mindset are important to constantly learn and adapt to the changing consumer environment.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Digital eCommerce team is responsible for developing our eCommerce channel and all consumer-facing digital touchpoints for Arc’teryx. It is a high-performing team responsible for direct-to-consumer eCommerce (strategy & operations), digital marketing (CRM & paid), digital analytics, digital user experience, digital merchandising and digital product content. The team works closely with many other teams, including Brand and Marketing Operations.
If you were the Paid Digital Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Monitoring, evaluating and optimizing campaign performance within digital ad platforms
- Using platform pixels to set up campaign tracking, reporting on results, and building audiences
- Setting campaign objectives that align with Business KPIs and overall media mix
- Strategizing and building audiences for prospecting and/or retargeting campaigns
- Reporting on campaign performance and adjusting budgets/creatives/targeting as needed to continuously improve. Setting up reporting cadence to share results with the larger team
- Testing new social platforms and reporting on effectiveness. Staying up to date on industry trends and new testing opportunities
- Setting up A/B testing to gain creative insights that fuel creative development
- Supporting Paid Media Manager in executing the overall paid media strategy of the ecommerce tactics for all regions and reporting results
- Setting up, organizing, and troubleshooting product catalogs in GMC & Meta Commerce Manager for dynamic shopping campaigns
- Working with internal teams (retail, experiences, brand, creative, etc.) to support Arc’teryx’ omnichannel strategies
- Ensuring creative standards are upheld across platforms and give input where needed with creative teams
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders (Digital Merch, CRM, etc.) to deliver personalised paid media experiences to the users
- Structuring and conducting tests, analyzing data, identifying trends and insights to achieve maximum revenue & goals in paid media campaigns
- Liaison with the Digital, Platform Partners (Google/ Meta), and Brand/ Video teams to help develop marketing collateral aligned to campaign goals and providing feedback to help optimize ad performance
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
- Supporting in developing our 1-2 year digital strategy to scale the brand internationally, including designing omni-channel plans to connect in-store and online business
- Testing new ad products and reporting on effectiveness. Staying up to date on industry trends and testing opportunities
- Working alongside Brand and Creative to maximize Awareness tactics and strategies
Are you our next Paid Digital Specialist?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- You have 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with 2+ years working on eCommerce clients
- You have advanced knowledge of digital marketing tools and technologies such as Meta and Google
- You understand key performance metrics against diverse marketing goals, and how to apply those KPIs to paid execution
- You have knowledge or willingness to learn DV360 and other GMP tools
- You have a broad understanding of how seasonal and cultural events impact shoppers, and you have the ability to proactively plan and pivot to meet these opportunities
- You are detail oriented and able to keep track of complex campaign executions while meeting launch deadlines
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
