Paid Digital Media Strategist (PPC)

emagineHealth, the Digital-First Marketing and Communications Agency for Healthcare and Life Sciences, is seeking an experienced, strategic, data-focused Paid Digital Media Strategist to join our growing Digital Marketing Services team. 

While other sectors (such as Tech) have been cutting Paid Media budgets, practically all surveys of Healthcare and Pharma marketers show increased investments into Paid Digital. emagineHealth sees tremendous growth potential for our Paid division. 

This position requires a strong mix of research, analysis of data, creative development and client interaction. This is a collaborative role for an individual with strong communication and account management skills. In other words, you must truly enjoy and have a passion for client interaction, as you will be personally responsible for the hands-on management of search, social and display campaigns for a number of our high-touch customer accounts. The ability to explain complex solutions in a digestible way, while providing enough data and performance results to demonstrate the impact of your work, is key.

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage budgets and work with the Digital Marketing Services team in order to maximize search visibility, website traffic, conversions, and ultimate customer ROI. The role also requires the oversight and management of client accounts to ensure peak performance for campaigns across Google and Microsoft Paid Search, Display, Remarketing and Social Media Advertising.

Requirements

  • 3+ years working with paid media (Google Search, Display, LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Demonstrate strategic insight to develop long term execution plans from client’s stated business objectives and KPIs
  • Effectively present advanced strategic and tactical plans to clients and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain multiple high-touch client accounts 
  • Understanding the importance of patient and customer journeys as it relates to ad campaigns
  • Continuously looking to learn and adapt to industry best-practices
  • Comfortable with A/B and multivariate testing across various platforms
  • Deep understanding of keyword discovery and optimization
  • Experience utilizing landing page best practices for optimal performance
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with supporting context to clients
  • Proactively provide data-driven insights and recommendations to refine and improve ongoing client strategies
  • Proven track record of successful client relationship development
  • Comfortable with UTM and URL building

Preferred Experience

  • Industry specific certifications
  • Experience using Google Data Studio/Looker
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager
  • CRM exposure: HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable
  • Experience using software tools such as SpyFu or SEMrush
  • International SEM campaign management
  • Exposure to organic SEO best practices and how it relates to PPC campaigns
  • Working knowledge of healthcare marketing challenges and best practices
  • Experience working remotely
  • Agency experience a plus
