In this leadership role, you serve as a senior technical resource for the organization, regularly interacting with other senior managers. You are an internally recognized expert in packaging development and packaging engineering. In this role, you identify, define and solve complex business problems by applying broad technical and consumer knowledge as well as an in-depth understanding of packaging technologies related to Mondelēz products.
How you will contribute
You will lead packaging projects or teams to design, develop, optimize and specify materials that deliver consumer benefit through new products, quality improvements and cost-savings opportunities. To do so, you apply industry-leading technologies and tools and leverage supplier relationships while effectively managing intellectual property rights. To excel in this position, you will deliver solutions on time and on budget using project management methodologies and providing status updates to stakeholders. You will also provide technical leadership for packaging development and packaging technologies by: continually updating your business-relevant expertise; driving the technical development of people by teaching, coaching, mentoring and identifying future technical leaders; defining and sharing technical best practices, and; influencing the technical direction of the business.

- Packaging and demonstrating an understanding of statistical, modeling and simulation tools

What you need to know about this position:
Position will Lead Productivity & Sustainability pipeline ideation and regional reporting, including:
- Lead BMR Sessions and track outputs
- Key partner to region Impact & EPR leads
- Identify where productivity & new sustainable material technologies fit into BU 4-2-1s
What extra ingredients you will bring:
Strongest on relationship skills and key knowledge on Project Management foundation
Education / Certifications:
- Education background in Engineering, Chemistry or Technology, Materials, Industrial or Mechanical preferentially with bases in Packaging technical field.
- Experience working in a Research, Development and Deploy.
- Experience managing projects within a plant environment (Product Development, Process
- Technology, New Product Commercialization, etc.).
- Knowledge of Quality, Safety and Environment Management Systems (ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000).
- Knowledge in regulations and safe design required for packaging materials (If possible)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Skills to understand and implement regional programs.
- Communication in fluent English.
- Microsoft office management
- Management of design programs such as Autocad.
Job specific requirements:
- Ability to generate productivity packaging pipelines by leveraging both existing equipment in the company and new equipment.
- Leverage and challenge suppliers to develop new technologies with cost advantage packaging formats and materials to achieve business goals.
- Handle or management global programs as focal point and support to R&D Pack Productivity and R&D Pack Sustainability team.
- Ability to act as bridge with Global teams.
