Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Senior Package Development Engineer. Responsible for sourcing, evaluation, analyzing and make recommendations on new products, design, materials and cost improvement to enhance competitive edge. With this, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of new sensor product & packages to support new product introduction.
Job Location:
This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state. Nearby are malls and various restaurants. It is also close to recreation parks and a stadium.
What you will be doing:
- Design, develop and implement new sensor product & packages to support new product introduction.
- Source, evaluate, analyze and make recommendations on new products, design, materials and cost improvement to enhance competitive edge.
- Responsible to define package characteristic to meet electrical requirements.
- Development of manufacturing process equipment and related tooling for prototype sample and volume production.
What you will bring along:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Chemical Engineering, Physics)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Good knowledge/understanding of semiconductor packaging processes, materials and technology.
- Strong analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Experience of 2D AutoCAD and 3D drafting is an added advantage.
