Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Urology
We are seeking a hospital and clinic-based role Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Palm Springs, CA. There will be occasional travel to the Palm Desert location as well.
This is a full-time, clinic-based role with a Monday-Friday schedule only. You will work 1:1 with a trained urologist specializing in male/female urology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient care to patients with conditions such as incontinence, vaginal prolapse, recurrent UTIs, pelvic pain, etc.
- Examine patients and review their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests
- This role will conduct hospital rounds, admission and consults for local hospitals
- Diagnose conditions and propose treatments
- Assist with patient calls, medication refills, and other administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their family members on good health practices
- Perform other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- Active CA State License
- Willingness to commit to learning the specialty
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems (EMR)
- Patient empathy

Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 Annual
