Develop and organize productive and efficient routes to meet the needs of customers. Determine order in which freight is moved, make tractor assignments, set delivery schedule, and work with customers to resolve delivery and pick up problems. Determine number of drivers needed to deliver available freight. Evaluate P&D service to and from customers to ensure excellent delivery service and on-time pick ups. Train and develop P&D Drivers to ensure efficient operations according to Company standards and customer expectations. Serve as a role model by consistently practicing strong loss prevention techniques and conduct loss prevention and safety meetings at regular intervals.
For this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or GED. We would prefer for you to have a Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or equivalent Business experience, at least 2 years of Less Than Truckload (LTL) freight and/or business leadership experience or completion of Company Management Training Program.Work Shift
