Job Description

The Opportunity: 
Mattel is currently seeking a P&C Operations Coordinator, in Hyderabad. This role will be part of a dynamic People & Culture Operations team focused on process excellence, data accuracy, and continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle. This role will drive operational excellence across core employee lifecycle processes, strengthening service delivery, compliance governance, and workforce data integrity in a growing environment. This position will lead process optimization initiatives, contribute to automation and digital enablement efforts, and establish scalable operational frameworks to support continued workforce expansion. This position reports directly into the Sr Supervisor - P&C Operations   

What Your Impact Will Be: 

HRMS Management

· Own end-to-end HRMS data governance, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and reliability of employee data to enable informed workforce planning and business decision-making.

· Act as primary operational liaison for HR systems, resolving issues, driving enhancements, and partnering with vendors to continuously improve system functionality and user experience.

· Lead adoption and stabilization of new HR tools and digital initiatives within MTIC, ensuring sustainable process integration.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

· Own payroll governance and execution, ensuring 100% accuracy, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, tax, gratuity, etc.), and audit readiness.

· Proactively mitigate compliance risk through rigorous documentation, internal controls, and regulatory reporting oversight.

· Oversee benefits administration ensuring seamless employee experience, regulatory adherence, and operational efficiency.

Compliance & Documentation

· Establish and maintain robust documentation and record-keeping standards aligned with data privacy laws and labor regulations.

· Assist in audits, statutory filings, and policy implementation.

Operational Excellence

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and employee experience across the P&C function.

· Partner cross-functionally with PRBPs, Finance, IT, and leadership to strengthen reporting capabilities, streamline workflows, and support business growth.

Overall, this position plays a foundational role in building a scalable People Operations infrastructure to support the rapid growth and long-term success of MTIC.

 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

    · 4–7 years of experience in P&C operations with exposure to HRMS, payroll, and benefits.

    · Hands-on expertise in HRMS tools (SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar).

    · Strong proficiency in MIS reporting, Excel, and Power BI dashboards.

    · Sound knowledge of Indian payroll practices, statutory compliance, and P&C processes.

    · Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

    · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
