About the Role:

The Recycle/Compliance/EP Tech plays a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing processes adhere to environmental regulations and company sustainability goals. This position focuses on managing recycling operations, monitoring compliance with environmental policies, and supporting the implementation of environmental protection (EP) technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with production teams to optimize waste reduction and recycling efforts while maintaining strict compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in environmental compliance, recycling operations, or a related manufacturing role.
  • Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, including EPA guidelines and waste management standards.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed records and prepare compliance documentation.
  • Ability to conduct audits and inspections with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Certification in environmental compliance or hazardous waste management (e.g., RCRA, ISO 14001).
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to environmental protection technologies.
  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency with environmental management software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee recycling processes within the manufacturing facility to ensure efficient waste segregation and disposal.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, including EPA standards and local laws.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential compliance risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to integrate environmental protection technologies and best practices into daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of recycling activities, compliance reports, and environmental permits for internal and external review.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental policies, recycling procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of environmental reports and documentation required for regulatory agencies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste, enhancing recycling rates, and improving environmental performance.

3rd shift Sunday - Thursday 9pm - 5:30am. Schedule change pending production.
