Role
As Maintenance & Engineering Level 1 – Overnight, you will be responsible for maintaining the resort’s facilities and ensuring all operations run smoothly during the overnight hours. From basic preventive maintenance to facility inspections, your efforts will contribute to creating the comfortable, luxurious environment our guests expect at Amangiri. Responsibilities
- Exceed guest expectations by maintaining high standards of care and service in your daily tasks, while projecting a positive image through proper grooming and professional communication.
- Report on time for each shift, adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
- Care for tools, supplies, and equipment responsibly, ensuring all items are properly accounted for and maintained.
- Perform general preventive maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, painting, minor repairs, and inspecting mechanical rooms nightly.
- Conduct routine inspections and repairs of public pools, indoor and outdoor lighting, and HVAC systems as per the department schedule.
- Respond to room and guest calls, ensuring that all maintenance requests are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
- Carry out snow removal, garbage pickup, and ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the facilities.
- Maintain detailed records and logs, keeping track of daily tasks and projects assigned by the Director of Engineering.
- Assist with furniture setup for events, and other duties as needed to support hotel operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance-related field, preferably in hospitality or luxury resort settings.
- Must have open availability and be willing to work weekends and overnight shifts.
- Ability to manage time effectively and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with various departments and colleagues.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged durations.
- Ability to maintain a professional and clean appearance in line with company policies.
- Always conduct yourself in a professional manner, representing the high standards of Aman resorts.
- Clean driving and criminal records required.
