What you will be doing
- Welcome guests and provide professional, friendly service throughout the night.
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
- Process reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest requests.
- Perform the daily/nightly audit and reconcile hotel financial transactions.
- Review and balance daily revenue, occupancy, room charges, and payment activity.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports for management.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
- Monitor the hotel during overnight hours and communicate any safety, security, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate manager.
- Maintain accurate records and complete all required front-office paperwork.
- Follow Marriott and hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
- Assist with light front-office duties and other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Previous hotel, front desk, or night audit experience preferred.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately handle cash and financial transactions.
- Comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous when handling difficult situations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel operating systems.
- Must be dependable and have excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required.
