Join us as an Outsourcing Services Lead
This position is for RBS International, Luxembourg branch, a proud member of the NatWest Group.
- This is a high profile role that will see you leading all outsourced services in line with customer, budgetary and risk requirements
- We’ll be asking you to lead a diverse team of outsourced services disciplines, including internal service management and third party suppliers
- You'll have a real opportunity to add value and deliver lasting results in this role, while building meaningful relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
What you'll do
In this leading role, you’ll be implementing a strategy to show how the business area uses its outsourced services and how these relationships will be managed on an ongoing basis. You’ll be making sure that all relationships meet with our regulatory requirements and demonstrating how the anticipated use of outsourced services will enable the business area to grow as a business.
Other key aspects of your role will involve:
- Overseeing the outsourcing policies and procedures in line with the business area’s strategy
- Demonstrating a clear operating model where all costs aligned to Shared Services are held in line with the bank’s process
- Achieving all outsourced services performance goals through strong people leadership, strategic planning and effective use of resource
- Managing, allocating and, where applicable, reducing the Shared Services budget in line with strategic needs
- Leading implementation initiatives across all Shared Services disciplines, overcoming resistance through effective communication and feedback mechanisms
The skills you'll need
To excel in this role, you’ll need an understanding of the compliance and regulatory agenda to meet changing regulatory requirements within financial services and wider bank environment. You’ll have an in-depth understanding of service management principles and processes and the ability to apply this technical knowledge in project or programme activities.
You’ll also need:
- An in-depth understanding of the regulations surrounding internal service management and third party suppliers
- Experience of prioritising multiple projects and competing stakeholder needs effectively to deliver the best outcome for the business
- Experience of leading teams, motivating and coaching colleagues to achieve delivery milestones
- Excellent communications skills and experience of producing and presenting recommendation papers for senior audiences
