RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute sales growth plan for all customers within assigned territory by creating opportunities and generating sales from existing and new accounts.
- Analyze market potential within the assigned territory and assist in the development of business strategies that will lead to market share growth.
- Develop a clear understanding of customer spend on parts and services related to equipment installed base within territory; document and communicate this information to location and headquarter management.
- Responsible for providing timely and accurate information for the development of pricing strategies.
- Establish and maintain a good company image by providing exceptional customer service, a professional business attitude, and up-to-date product knowledge
- Develop and maintain personal portfolio of technical sales material such as equipment manuals, drawings, and product presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience within the aggregate equipment industry and/or related industry is strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel frequently. Occasional overnight travel to locations locally and in remote areas is required.
- Strong leadership and relationship building skills.
- A high level of computer skills is essential – MS Excel, Word & Outlook
- Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several sales opportunities at one time.
- Must be physically capable.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
