POSITION SUMMARY:

The selected individual in this role will that solicit body shops, mechanical shops, fleet, commercial and municipality’s regarding sales orders from new and existing customers in an assigned area or region. They will also assist in setting up customers with business accounts and keeps in touch with those customers if there is a problems. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  •  Provide fast, courteous, reliable information and product support to customers, dealers, distributors, technicians, company personnel and customers.
  •  Travels throughout an assigned area or region to promote company products and services. 
  •  Achieves individual sales goals by delivering excellent customer support on all products and services.
  •  Establishes and maintains positive customer relations. 
  •  Develops high level of product and process knowledge. 
  •  Interfaces with customers in a variety of environments and settings.
  •  Secure agreement/purchase order from qualified wholesale customer covering cost, transportation method, and payment. Special attention given to first-time or occasional buyers.
  •  Obtain authorization from customer if original agreement changes; delivery date, transportation cost or availability.
  •  Ensure customer understand dealerships policy on returns, damage, over ship, shortage, and credit.
  •  Maintain catalogs, technical bulletins, and price schedules as requested.
  •  Respond to telephone in accordance to dealership policy.
  •  Contact assigned customer list providing follow-up and solicitation of new business.
  •  Operate and maintain dealership owned equipment in a manner consistent with dealership policy.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  •  Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S
  •  High School Diploma or equivalent
  •  Previous experience preferred.
  •  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  •  Ability to write simple correspondence.
  •  Ability to effectively present information in one on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  •  Creative and logical with solving problems that arise, while expressing empathy for customers 
  •  Experience using computer software programs, Internet and Email
  •  Strong record of positive customer satisfaction
  •  Must be skilled at listening, problem solving and communication
  •  Energetic, enthusiastic and team oriented
  •  Valid in-state driver's license.
