Job Purpose
The Outside Counsel AI Solution Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of OCM AI-enabled delivery for our clients. This role will manage client relationship and drive the adoption of transparent, efficient and AI enabled billing strategies. As Outside Counsel AI Solution Manager and subject matter expert you will ensure your team delivers oversight and assurance monitoring of AI processes and outcomes to ensure consistency and effective AI delivery as well as human intervention for exception and escalation requiring manual effort and interaction when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and support to clients that enhances ongoing relationships, develops a partnership approach and aligns to company values and priorities.
Act as the champion for client value realization through AI enabled delivery, identifying opportunities for optimization and expanded services.
Drive measurable outcomes for clients (efficiency, cost reduction, predictability), that ensure clients realise benefits from AI adoption.
Acts as single point of contact for quality, performance and compliance reviews with Outside Counsel, supporting client lead attorneys where required.
Communicate complex, technical and AI related information as well as high-level and strategic expectations to clients, Outside Counsel, and provide an escalation point for matters requiring senior expertise, oversight and involvement.
Own delivery SLAs/KPIs management reporting and predictive analysis from a client perspective, monitor high level trends, exceptions, potential risks and areas to proactively focus attention and present quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
Lead regular communication with legal, finance and operation teams to ensure a collaborative approach and alignment across stakeholders is achieved.
Work closely with product/AI teams on feedback, improvements, and roadmap alignment, representing the client voice internally.
Provide oversight, management support and guidance to the OCM delivery team ensuring that standards are maintained an align to client expectations and effectively support Outside Counsel ensure compliance and understanding with AI adoption and achieve adherence to requirements.
Resolve escalations, risks and issues appropriately, ensuring transparency, and feedback to the wider internal team to support continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
Subject matter expert in legal operations, outside counsel management, spend efficiency and invoice review.
Knowledge and experience of e-billing tools and financial systems.
Experience using AI tools and technologies, AI agents and AI prompts.
Ability to explain complex technical and AI related information in an inclusive and accessible way to others, including clients and colleagues.
Understanding of data compliance laws (e.g. GDPR, EU AI Act)
Desirable
Experience networking, presenting to large groups and cross selling to clients.
Qualifications
Required: Management or Business qualification or relevant experience.
Preferred: Degree in business, legal or finance.

Salary Range
The salary range for this role reflects the range of factors that inform case-by-case compensation decisions including education, experience, training, licensure, certification, and geography as well as the business and organizational needs specific to the role. Compensation ranges may be broad, reflecting flexibility within the budget and title to consider candidates of varied experience. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000. Select roles are additionally eligible for Incentive Compensation in the form of our Annual Performance Bonus Program.
