Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) Float provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across multiple ambulatory service lines including outpatient clinics, perioperative services, and infusion therapy. This role supports staffing needs by floating between outpatient departments to ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining continuity of care. The RN functions within the scope of professional nursing practice, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and promotes positive patient outcomes through evidence-based care.
Requirements
Minimum QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).Prior experience in ambulatory care, perioperative nursing, infusion therapy, or medical-surgical nursing.
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification or Certified Ambulatory Care Nurse (RN-BC) preferred.
Skills Required
