ReconCraft is seeking an Outfitter to be responsible for assembling and outfitting newly manufactured vessels.  Duties include installation of all parts, equipment, components, hardware, and accessories as part of a vessel manufacturing production line.

 

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited):

  • Assembling/testing of parts using drawings and bills of material
  • Point-to-point wiring
  • Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods including crimping and soldering
  • Using common hand and power tools
  • Familiarity with mechanical assemblies
  • Following documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and ensuring proper function of parts
  • Measurements with calipers, tape measures, various gauges, and other devices
  • Performing minor adjustments to tools and equipment
  • Inspection of assemblies 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Education:
    • High school graduate or GED
  • Required Knowledge/Experience:
    • Valid driver’s license
  • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
    • Recent experience outfitting and assembling vessels or similar systems
    • Installing outboard and inboard motors
    • Installing waterjets, stern drives, and other similar propulsion systems
    • Installing marine electronics
    • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
    • ABYC certifications are a bonus
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
    • This position requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing, and visual acuity
    • Must also be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasks
Position Pay Range
$24.55$39.98 USD
