Mapi Research Trust is an independent not-for-profit organization specialized in Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) and Digital Health Technology (DHT) information and is part of the Commercialization and Outcomes group of ICON. https://mapi-trust.org//

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Outcomes Researcher to join our team. This client-facing role will be responsible for leading strategic discussions and trainings related to the incorporation of digital measures and digital health technologies (DHTs) into clinical trial protocols using HumanFirst’s Atlas software solution. The ideal candidate will have a background in clinical research, prior experience with DHTs, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. 

What you will be doing!

Client Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding digital measures and DHTs 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. 

  • Alongside the Customer Experience team, conduct regular check-ins (i.e. 1:1 meetings, quarterly business reviews) with clients to assess satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback. 

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead strategic calls and meetings with clients to discuss how to best apply digital measures and DHT to all therapeutic areas covered in the client’s portfolio.

  • Provide expert guidance on best practices, potential challenges, and solutions for incorporating DHTs into trial protocols. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams, namely Customer Experience and Product, to develop and present tailored strategies that align with client goals and objectives. 

Training and Education

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions for clients on the use of digital health technologies in clinical trials. 

  • Develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources, to support client education. 

  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in digital health technologies and clinical trial methodologies to ensure training content is current and relevant. 

Deliverable Preparation  

  • Triage and complete customer requests for new data on DHTs and pieces of evidence (i.e. peer reviewed papers, clinical trials, regulatory decisions) to be added to Atlas within agreed upon timelines 

Your Profile

  • PhD in Life Sciences, Health Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, or a health elated field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical trials, digital health, or a related industry. 

  • Proven experience in a client-facing role with a strong track record of managing client relationships and leading strategic initiatives. 

  • In-depth knowledge of digital health technologies and their application in clinical trials. 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, proactive approach to client needs and comfortable tolerating ambiguity.
