Why this role exists
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive pipeline growth. This role is ideal for individuals who have previously worked in an SDR capacity and are eager to build on their experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads through outbound efforts, collaborating closely with Account Executives to book meetings and create revenue opportunities.
What You’ll Own (for real)
- Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to engage with target personas (Sales, Partnerships, RevOps, Finance, Deal Desk).
- Conduct discovery calls with inbound and outbound prospects to understand their pain points, qualify them against our ICP, and set up next steps with the sales team.
- Qualify leads based on fit, intent, and engagement, ensuring only high-quality opportunities are passed to AEs.
- Leverage intent signals, industry research, and personalization techniques to increase engagement rates.
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and lead management in our CRM (Salesforce).
- Work closely with the demand generation team to refine messaging and outreach sequences.
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for meetings booked and pipeline generated.
Who This Is For
- Must have 1+ years of experience in an SDR role, preferably in B2B SaaS or cloud technology.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding outbound sales quotas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach.
- Experience using sales tools such as Apollo, Outreach/Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Highly motivated, coachable, and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong belief in using modern AI tooling, automation, and experimentation to dramatically increase individual output and sales impact.
- Familiarity with cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- This is not a passive or purely schedule-bound role. Performance is judged on objective results, and top performers take ownership of outcomes.
