Main Purpose:We are seeking a motivated OTM Technical Consultant with at least 2 years of experience in Oracle Transportation Management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in OTM configuration, integration, reporting, and customization, along with a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processesKnowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and support of OTM technical solutions.
- Work on OTM configurations such as agents, automation agents, workflows, and business process setups.
- Develop and maintain OTM customizations, including XML, XSL, SQL/PLSQL, BI Publisher Reports, and custom screens.
- Support integration activities with external systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, 3rd party logistics providers) using OTM’s Web Services/XML/Integration Manager.
- Provide L2/L3 support for OTM incidents, enhancements, and change requests.
- Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Participate in testing (unit, system, and UAT) and resolve defects.
- Create technical documentation, including solution design, configuration documents, and user guides.
- Stay updated on OTM features, patches, and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM SaaS).
- Strong knowledge of: SQL, PL/SQL, XML/XSLT, Java, or Groovy scripting (preferred)
- BI Publisher Reports and OTBI
- OTM configuration objects (Agents, Actions, Rules, Itineraries, Rates, etc.)
- Familiarity with OTM Integration Manager, REST/SOAP Web Services, and APIs.
- Good understanding of transportation & logistics processes (Order management, Shipment planning, Execution, Freight Payment).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Middleware tools.
- Basic understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting
