OTM Application Architect

Weatherford is seeking an experienced IT Applications Architect - Oracle Transportation Management System (OTM) to lead the design, implementation, and management of OTM solutions that support our logistics operations. This role will have ownership and strong expertise in the OTM application, providing leadership in system improvements, process enhancements, and project execution. The successful candidate will work closely with business teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure OTM meets business goals and best practices, boosting supply chain efficiency and supporting logistics solutions end-to-end.

Requirements

• Advanced functional and technical expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), including setup, integration, and optimization for logistics and transportation
• Strong organizational skills to manage fast-paced requests, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and balance expectations across multiple stakeholders
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to execute tasks independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment
• Creative problem-solving skills to develop multi-disciplinary solutions that address both business and technical needs across software platforms

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in a Business, Computer Science or Engineering area is required
• 10 years of related experience working with JD Edwards / Oracle Enterprise One in a technical role is also required. Some functional experience may substitute for technical experience
• Prior experience working in a multinational organization is essential
• Foreign language skills, particularly Spanish, Italian, or German
• Experience working as an IT Project Manager or Oil & Gas business line manager
• Ability to read and understand JD Edwards / Oracle Cloud One Event Rules language
• Moderate knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
• Formal negotiating training
• Oilfield industry experience
• SQL or Showcase experience
• Experience with a multitude of non-JDE applications within relevant functional areas
