As an expert of the OTA Quality Management team in Quality, you will be responsible for defining and executing a robust and rigorous quality governance process, providing leadership and direction to assess and approve OTA hardware and software solutions. This role will lead the governance of OTA software quality validation and assessments and the Go/NoGo decision to deliver software to customer vehicles in the global CarParc for all OTA capable ECU’s. The OTA Quality Expert will guarantee that the OTA software quality assessments will ensure the highest quality, reliability and compliance with Stellantis Quality standards for all vehicle platforms and all 14 Stellantis Brands.
Along with the team you will lead and build, you will execute the OTA governance process starting from day one at the earliest development stage and work closely with the product portfolio and engineering teams during the entire development path. The key deliverable is to launch world leading platform products that exceed all current and future technology challenges in the drive to achieve truly software defined Vehicle. Quality of the product and of the Customer Experience will be the focus, with the aim to reach top1 ranking by strong monitoring of the robustness/acceptance of deliverables, risk control and handling of anomalies.
We are looking for an accomplished technology passionate and product innovation expert with a background in complex electronic systems and EE architectures able to lead the OTA Quality governance process based on strong technical background within an Agile development framework. The position’s responsibilities include internal reporting, network management, support and mentorship of the engineering team in quality control of automotive grade HW & SW product deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Execute a robust and rigorous software quality assessment process, providing direction to assess and approve Over The Air (OTA) updates and software solutions.
- During design & development phase, lead the team to a robust acceptance of deliverables, a strong risk control and an effective handling of anomalies.
- Animate convergence of quality indicators along the entire development plan for a successful OTA software deployment.
- Lead the OTA software quality assessments for all SWX projects milestones, reviews and support the milestones assessment at module and vehicle level.
- Work with Plan and Product teams for a robust features/services portfolio and launch plan.
- Assess and evaluate the readiness of features/services description and user stories at project start.
- Report the status of the OTA Quality and Customer Experience KPIs to the upper management team and engage engineering, project management and suppliers during the issue solving process.
- Support serial life improvements on Customer field complaints.
- Develop a culture of collaboration, diversity and inclusion.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in automotive/consumer electrical and software engineering
- Track record of delivering business and technology results for complex, cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple competing priorities
- Experience with component and system architecture of large complex on-board / off-board solutions including electronic, computer network and software
- Deep understanding of typical connected vehicle E2E architectures and automotive development processes
- Good knowledge of agile methodologies, especially on SAFe Agile practices
- Experience with project status & risk reporting and escalation
- Excellent communication and coordination skills while working in multi-site environment
- Lead the activities supported by a small team (approximately 1-3 people worldwide)
- Fluency in English is required, any other European language is an advantage
