The Role

Join our Vision Technology Competency Center developing innovative vision platforms that transform manufacturing excellence and operational efficiency across global operations!

Core Responsibilities
  • Build Vision Technology Platform: Work as a key team member developing modular, scalable vision solutions under the guidance of our Lead Vision Engineer and Product Owner.

  • Deliver Solutions to the Shop Floor: Design and implement vision solutions that integrate hardware and software components with industrial control networks and PLC systems, ensuring reliable performance in manufacturing environments

  • Optimize System Performance: Enhance image acquisition and processing performance through systematic analysis and continuous improvement

  • Drive Project Success: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects from proof-of-concept through deployment, reducing lead times and enhancing production effectiveness

  • Establish Technical Standards: Develop comprehensive guidelines and best practices that enable rapid deployment across global operations

  • Support Team Development: Share knowledge with community of practice, and competency center colleagues, fostering collective technical excellence

Our Operational Technology Engineering team delivers manufacturing innovation through collaboration. As our Sr Vision Engineer, you will work alongside our Lead Vision Engineer, Product owner and technical specialists, contributing expertise while learning from others.

Together, we deliver world-class manufacturing solutions and build scalable frameworks that support our global operations and commitment to excellence.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Advanced proficiency in OpenCV, PyTorch, and TensorFlow with team-based project experience

  • Expert programming capabilities in Python. Experience with C++, or C# will be an advantage

  • Comprehensive knowledge of optics, imaging systems, and industrial lighting technologies

  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, MQTT) and PLC systems

  • Hands-on experience deploying vision solutions on embedded and edge computing platforms

  • Strong analytical and systematic troubleshooting skills with team-based problem-solving approach

  • Proven experience in manufacturing environments and able to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams

  • Able to travel up to 20 days annually for system deployment and team coordination
