In Hvidovre, your immediate team includes the head of our IT/OT function, an IT analyst, and an experienced OT consultant, who enjoy sharing knowledge and collaborating to solve problems.
 

Your day at Ferring
As our OT specialist, you will be central to ensuring (among other things) the stability of the DCS system at our manufacturing site, where you will be responsible for providing operational support and managing projects.

With a focus on governance, maintenance, and compliance, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting and providing system support

• Managing relations with vendors and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in OT

• Planning, coordinating, and supervising activities related to the integration of OT programs, applications, and third-party solutions

• Organizing, defining, and unlocking the large volume of OT data from shop floor systems – and ensuring collection, archiving, and access to support a data-driven organization

• Contributing to translating business needs into technical OT solutions and being accountable for the technical part of OT deliverables within the projects
   

Drawing on your expertise and hands-on experience, you will also contribute to lifecycle management and business-critical projects, including upgrades and alignment of technical systems and processes.

In addition, you probably have:

• Solid experience managing and troubleshooting OT systems

• Hands-on experience with major SCADA/Sattline platforms and solutions

• A good understanding of GMP rules and regulations

• A strong compliance mindset underlined by experience from an industrial company within the pharma, chemistry, or food industry

• A degree in engineering, automation, computer science or a related field – or equivalent practical experience
