Core ResponsibilitiesDrive ideation of technical automation solutions.
Conduct proof of concept testing for automation innovations.
Provide technical guidance on automation and IT architecture, collaborating with suppliers and mechanical designers.
Ensure modularity and robustness in automation, sensor, and mechatronics technologies for next-gen production equipment.
Foster collaboration within multi-functional teams.
Contribute IT expertise to drive innovative architecture for a digital future.
Actively engage with partners and customers during and after the ramp-up phase of new automation equipment.
Operational Technology – Innovation, is key player for bringing the LEGO bricks in hands of the kids. Join us in making innovative automation solutions under the Industry 4.0 umbrella. In this position you will become an important player of ideation and proof of concept/technology towards becoming more sustainable from a circular business model perspective. Innovation with automation lenses and hand in hand with other skilled colleagues will bring forward a sustainable future.
Do you have what it takes?Over 4 years in the automation field, with experience in Rockwell/Allen Bradley and/or B&R PLC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, development, design, and programming.
Extensive knowledge of automation components, with a keen curiosity about sensor technologies.
Proficient in evaluating various automation brands, assessing their strengths and weaknesses.
Proficient in English, adept at working across time zones and in multicultural teams.
Familiar with Studio 5000 and B&R Automation Studio software.
Experienced in Ethernet/IP and OPC UA protocols.
Knowledge about innovative technologies and automation/technology trends.
Skilled in reading and writing equipment design requirements
Strong ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
Willingness to travel 20-30 days per year.
Please note that we do not offer relocation support for this position. Internally within the organization this role is at a Manager specialist level.
