About your service: John XXIII College, Claremont

Hourly Rate: $47.81 to $50.00 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.07 to $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

  • Days Required: Monday to Thursday. Four days per week required.
  • After School Care: 2:15 PM- 6:00 PM.
  • Total Hours: 15 hours per week.
  • Contract: Casual.
  • Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

As our OSHC Service Coordinator you will:

  • Be the Visionary: You’re the boss of the service! You’ll plan and program epic science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
  • Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar. 
  • Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
  • Champion Quality: Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
  • The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
  • The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

  • The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Diploma, Bachelor’s, Masters in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Youth Work, Community Services, and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!

  • The Essentials: A valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
