We're looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced practice and is committed to creating an outstanding experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures.
  • Take digital X-rays, impressions, intraoral scans, and clinical photographs.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment while maintaining OSHA and infection control standards.
  • Place and remove orthodontic appliances as directed by the orthodontist.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper care of braces, aligners, and orthodontic appliances.
  • Accurately document treatment notes and patient progress.
  • Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and assist with inventory management.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care while supporting an efficient clinical schedule.

Qualifications

  • Previous orthodontic assisting experience required.
  • Current Texas dental assisting requirements, as applicable.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA standards.
  • Experience with digital scanners, clear aligners, and self-ligating bracket systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mentality.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
