Experienced Orthodontic Assistant (Back Office) – Part-Time

We are currently seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our Gilbert office on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for someone looking to be part of a supportive team while working in one dedicated office location.
Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during a variety of clinical procedures.
- Take digital X-rays, impressions, intraoral scans, and clinical photographs.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment while maintaining OSHA and infection control standards.
- Place and remove orthodontic appliances as directed by the orthodontist.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper care of braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances.
- Accurately document treatment notes and patient progress.
- Maintain inventory and assist with keeping the clinical area organized and efficient.
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Previous orthodontic assisting experience is required.
- Current Arizona dental assisting credentials are preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with a strong team-first mentality.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
