Job DescriptionHe/She will be responsible for expanding our power and gas related activities and will work closely with the local and regional teams to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
Essential responsibilities
- Support local company establishment and coordination with stakeholders.
- Handle correspondence, contract registration and document management.
- Identifying power and gas wholesale opportunities in BiH.
- Originating and executing power and gas transactions in the wholesale market, making pricing strategies & forecasts, handling internal reporting as well as relationships with clients & other stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage risk exposure, including credit and market risk.
- Generate renewable energy projects and opportunities.
- Develop systems, reports, and models to facilitate decision-making.
- Support the company’s expansion strategy and market set-up.
- Ensure stable, safe, legal, and regulatory compliance of all operations.
- Master degree in business, economics or engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in power and/or gas sector within BiH and/or the West Balkan region.
- Expertise in managing wholesale electricity and gas market operations and deal origination, with understanding of energy market fundamentals.
- Fluent in both Serbian and English.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) is a plus.
