Located in the heart of Central Ohio, Illuminate USA is transforming solar panel manufacturing from our cutting-edge facility in Pataskala. As a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, we’ve rapidly grown to over 1,500 associates and are now fully operational in our 1.1 million-square-foot factory. Our vision is to establish one of the largest solar panel manufacturing operations in the Western Hemisphere.

As an Organizational Development Specialist at Illuminate USA, you will light the way for people and performance. You will work with leaders as a member of the Talent Management Team to improve the organization’s effectiveness, health, and ability to adapt by enhancing strategies, structures, processes, and culture through planned interventions like leadership development, team building, and change management. You will work with leaders to identify, communicate, and integrate core values, competencies, and operating principles that align with the illuminate way of working. You will support organizational needs for adoption and change management as the business navigates optimization.  In this role, you will work with key business stakeholders to enable development resources to engage and support development across the business.

Organizational Development

  • Conduct organizational assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improving organizational development, people development resources, and performance.
  • Support organizational design strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and drive internal development, skill development, and leadership development.
  • Partner with learning and performance management to drive a high-performance culture while enhancing leadership capabilities and promoting employee engagement.
  • Identify and monitor organizational performance metrics to measure progress and provide actionable insights.
  • Build and integrate an Emerging Leaders Program to support the development of High Potential individuals that aligns with our overall Leadership Development Strategy to help us create a common language for development and operational principles
  • Support the Succession Planning process by assisting with IDP planning and individual plans that support individual growth
  • Help us align our values and competencies to our business goals annually and support our goal planning process

Change Management Practices

  • Synthesize analytics and insights to drive sustainable change and enable organizational transformation in support of the organization’s strategies and priorities.
  • Leverage strategies to design and deliver change plans to ensure successful and sustainable organizational behavior change.
  • Support the activation of change management guidelines, processes, and implementation practices for people, projects, and product changes.
  • Champion the integration of The Illuminate Way into the organization by providing coaching, training, and coordinating with project owners for realization and activation of projects.

Culture Building

  • Facilitate the effective understanding and alignment of our business strategy, vision, mission, and values throughout the organization.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement plans, communication strategies, and training approaches enabling smooth transitions and sustained adoption.
  • Support organizational effectiveness and associate development initiatives.
  • Engrain The Illuminate Way into the culture to ensure the realization of the right results from projects and improvement ideas.
  • Leverage The Illuminate Way of doing business to activate the right processes, systems and check functions to ensure consistent and efficient achievement of goals and growth of individuals for engagement and connection.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 5+ years of organizational and leadership development, change management experience a bonus
  • Strong knowledge of organizational development principles, change management methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Power PI with strong skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, focusing on effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas, findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Phenomenal collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans
  • Strong knowledge of individual and culture development, and team effectiveness principles.
  • Ability to communicate a story and effectively make a business case for change or improvement
  • Experience working in manufacturing preferred.
  • Bi-lingual a plus
