About the Role
The Organic Social Content & Strategy Lead will develop and execute a best-in-class organic social media program across a large network of independently managed auto dealerships. This role will be responsible for strategy, content planning, performance analysis, and training teams to elevate their social presence while maintaining brand consistency.
As the organic social expert, this person will build scalable frameworks, create content toolkits, playbooks and provide local teams with the tools, insights, and creative resources they need to maximize engagement and drive business impact.
Experience in multi-location, franchise, or dealership-based businesses is required.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Strategy & Program Development
- Develop and implement a scalable, results-driven organic social media strategy that supports the full network of stores.
- Create and maintain a recommended content calendar, aligning with seasonal and channel trends, product launches, and community engagement initiatives.
- Provide monthly insights and recommendations based on social media performance data.
- Align social content with broader brand marketing initiatives while allowing for regional customization.
Content Development & Asset Management
- Work with creative teams on a monthly asset pack of content; developing engaging, on-brand visuals, captions, and video content.
- Manage and optimize the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring easy access to assets.
Training & Enablement
- Lead monthly social training workshops to educate local teams on best practices, platform updates, and engagement strategies.
- Develop microlearning resources, guides, and tutorials for continuous improvement.
- Oversee a Council of top social leads from across the network to share insights, celebrate successes, and drive program evolution.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Monitor and analyze organic social media metrics across locations, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide monthly performance reports with insights and action steps.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to keep the program innovative.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Serve as the key advisor for local teams, guiding them on social media execution and engagement strategies.
- Partner with marketing, creative, and digital teams to ensure alignment between organic social and broader brand initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with regional leaders and marketing teams to support unique needs while maintaining brand consistency.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in social media strategy, content creation, or digital marketing, with at least 2 of those years in a multi-location, franchise, or dealership-based business.
- Deep understanding of organic social media platforms (FB, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.), including best practices and engagement strategies.
- Strong content creation experience, including video formats, creative asset development, and caption writing.
- Experience in performance analysis, social media reporting, and translating data into action.
- Proven ability to educate and inspire teams with varying levels of social expertise.
- Experience managing DAM systems, content libraries, or social asset repositories is a plus.
- A balance of strategic oversight and hands-on execution, with the ability to scale organic social efforts efficiently.
