The Opportunity...

Centerfield is looking for an experienced Organic Social & Community Lead to join our content team. We are seeking a forward thinker and collaborative team player to drive engagement and elevate brand authority through community-building and social initiatives. The selected candidate will be key to the success of our brand portfolio by creating active communities and repeat customers for established brands. To start, they will work closely with content managers, videographers, industry experts, Centerfield marketing leadership, and other departments to increase loyalty across SeniorLiving.org and Business.com.

How You'll Contribute...

  • Create, manage, and grow communities for brands in our B2C and B2B portfolio across social platforms and forums (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Develop and implement social and community strategies, managing content planning, execution, and performance optimization.
  • Oversee the entire content lifecycle, ensuring performance is tracked, KPIs are established, and strategies are refined based on data insights.
  • Monitor user feedback, channel health, and trends, reporting insights regularly.
  • Organize and participate in events to drive community growth and brand awareness.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a team of freelance content creators.
  • Create and streamline community and cross-functional workflow processes.
  • Support the VP of Content, CMO, and corporate division leaders on strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For...

  • 5+ years of experience in community management, social media, brand marketing, or related fields.
  • Track record of developing successful community initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and retention.
  • Proven leadership experience guiding creative teams and managing cross-channel projects.
  • Experience launching and managing community initiatives, such as building online forums or social followings to significant scale (100k+ members).
  • Ability to track community metrics and analyze traffic and engagement data.
  • Proven content portfolio with associated KPIs from executing large-scale community initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex strategies to stakeholders.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing efficient processes.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional editing, organizational, and project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Foundational knowledge of SEO and analytics with experience using data to inform decisions.
  • Ability to think strategically while handling detailed execution when necessary.
  • Strong commitment to high content quality standards and customer needs.

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with influencer marketing (sourcing, negotiation, creative direction, etc.)
  • Mastery of video, audio, and/or long-form editorial formats, with a focus on effectively matching the medium to the message to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Proven success managing organic social channels (with or without creating the content itself) and shaping social strategy.
