Job Description

Organic Certification( NPOP/NOP) Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Organic Certification( NPOP/NOP) Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for our organic certification services under NPOP and NOP. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of organic farming, certification processes, and a strong ability to communicate the value of certification services to potential clients. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business development, increasing market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the organic certification sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for organic certification services (NPOP/NOP) to increase market penetration and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities, including organic farms, producers, processors, and exporters.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the organic agriculture industry.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, campaigns, and activities to raise awareness about our certification services.

Client Engagement:

  • Actively engage with potential clients, providing expert advice on organic certification requirements and benefits.
  • Conduct presentations, webinars, and on-site consultations for new and existing clients.
  • Guide clients through the certification process, ensuring they understand all steps and requirements.
  • Offer technical support related to the NPOP and NOP certification processes, ensuring clients are well-informed and compliant with regulations.

Sales Target Achievement:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets by acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones.
  • Regularly track sales performance and report on progress to the Certification Division Head.
  • Prepare and submit sales forecasts and activity reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Relationship Management:

  • Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and positive referrals.
  • Address any concerns or issues clients may have throughout the certification process.
  • Act as a liaison between the certification body and clients, facilitating communication and ensuring smooth service delivery.

Market Intelligence:

  • Keep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the organic certification space.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market needs, customer requirements, and potential areas for new service offerings.

Collaboration & Team Support:

  • Work closely with the technical certification team to ensure a seamless experience for clients from inquiry to certification.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, operations, and customer support, to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Organic Farming or related fields is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the agricultural, certification, or sustainability sectors.
  • Strong understanding of organic certification processes, particularly NPOP and NOP.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, relationship building, and achieving sales targets.
