The Role
THE OPPORTUNITY:
This existing vacancy is open to candidates that reside in the United States and Canada.
The Orders Fulfillment Manager is a strategic, execution-driven team contributor within the VelocityEHS Order Processing team. Acting as a team lead without direct people management responsibilities, this role owns the end-to-end coordination of customer SaaS provisioning and deprovisioning activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across each order lifecycle. The role requires a high level of detail orientation, ownership, and proactive problem-solving.
This individual serves as a key cross-functional liaison between many teams: Sales, Customer Experience (Onboarding, Services, Partners), Renewals, and Accounting to streamline order execution and elevate operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings a critical thinking mindset and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high expectations for precision and follow through.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfillment Execution
  • Serve as the team lead for provisioning and deprovisioning customer SaaS accounts, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality execution.
  • Submit, receive, verify, plan, coordinate, and complete provisioning requests and deactivation requests in alignment with company SLAs.
  • Validate orders and collaborate with Sales to resolve discrepancies prior to fulfillment.
  • Support operational handoffs to onboarding, project, and partner teams for successful customer go-lives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Renewals, Customer Experience, and Accounting to ensure seamless provisioning workflows.
  • Collaborate with Data Compliance, Security, and Product Operations on deprovisioning policies and edge cases.
  • Communicate status updates and potential blockers to stakeholders with clarity and accountability.
  • Process Improvement & Strategy
  • Identify opportunities to streamline order processing workflows and improve cross-functional efficiency.
  • Support development of provisioning-related SOPs and best practices.
  • Assist in implementation of tooling improvements (e.g. Salesforce, Jira) to reduce errors and improve traceability.
  • Audits, Compliance, and Reporting
  • Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of provisioning and deprovisioning activities.
  • Uphold high standards for customer data handling in line with data security and privacy protocols.
  • Contribute to reporting efforts related to order cycle time, errors, and backlog status.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in order processing, provisioning, or SaaS operations.
  • Proven ability to work independently with critical thinking, strong decision-making, and high attention to detail.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, CX, and Finance teams.
  • Ability to meet strict recurring deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with software provisioning and customer onboarding workflows.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, CPQ, Jira, and SaaS licensing tools.
  • Knowledge of compliance and data privacy considerations related to customer data processing and provisioning.
  • Experience supporting a high-growth sales team and scalable order operations.

VelocityEHS is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices by offering market-based salary ranges. The expected salary range for this position is between $68,600 and $90,350 USD (United States) or $73,050 and $94,700 CAD (Canada). We aim to hire between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range and offers at the maximum of the range are uncommon. The final offered salary will be based on candidate's proficiency in skill set, prior relevant experience, internal equity, market considerations, and other factors. This role is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
