Minimum Qualifications

Basic knowledge of hospital safety and infection control procedures.

Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving patients safely.

Valid certification in basic life support (BLS) or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in a hospital or surgical services environment.

Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or similar healthcare support credential.

Familiarity with medical terminology related to surgical procedures.

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain surgical suites and related areas by cleaning, disinfecting, and organizing equipment and supplies according to established protocols.

Assist in the safe transport of patients to and from operating rooms, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to safety procedures.

Support surgical teams by promptly delivering necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures as directed.

Monitor and restock surgical supplies and equipment to ensure availability and readiness for upcoming procedures.

Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to maintain a sterile environment and comply with infection control standards.
