Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Data Analyst located in Orangeburg, SC.

Reporting to the Sr Business Unit Manager the Data Analyst is responsible for providing expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate, and evaluate data and report results, and escalating data integrity issues.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Order Processing: Receive, review, and accurately enter customer orders into Order Management Systems (OMS), ensuring all documentation is complete and correct.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Sales, Inventory, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless order processing from initiation to fulfillment.
  • Inventory Management: Work closely with inventory teams to verify product availability and monitor stock levels, proactively preventing discrepancies.
  • Customer Communication: Serve as a primary contact for customers regarding order status, shipping updates, and delivery timelines.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve order-related issues or discrepancies, escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all orders and generate reports to support business operations.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract, validate, and analyze operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Presentation Skills: Create clear, compelling presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply analytical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the order lifecycle.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS) and ERP platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills including macro development (VBA) for automation and efficiency.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • A BS in Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science. Typically, then, a data analyst will want to have at least 1-2 years experience in a specific field when applying for a job in said field.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of statistics, at least to the degree necessary in order to communicate easily with statisticians. Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate. Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
  • Impacts the medium term direction and operational success of the function. Executes and provides input to functional plans and objectives for the site.
  • Enhances and provides input to functional processes or technologies. Has experience in leading major initiatives and provides input to those initiatives.
  • Makes decisions for the function and the site. Decisions may affect site.
  • Demonstrates experience in performance development, teaching/leading, mentoring and/or organization development. Instills appropriate behavior in others in
