Order Management - Data Analyst
Huntsman is seeking a Order Management - Data Analyst supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in Costa Rica . This position will report to the Order Management Team Lead.
Job Scope:
The Order Management - Data Analyst is a hybrid responsible for managing the end-to-end order process while providing data-driven insights to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position ensures timely and accurate order management, while also analyzing trends, performance metrics, and process gaps to enhance service delivery.
Order Management & Customer Service (60%)
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order status updates, and issue resolution.
- Process and monitor customer orders in SAP or ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to manage order delivery and exceptions.
- Handle changes in orders, returns, and claims following company policies.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction across all interactions.
- Support escalations and communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
Data Analysis & Reporting (40%)
- Analyze sales order data, customer trends, and service KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
- Generate dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Track order fulfillment metrics, backlog, lead times, and on-time delivery performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and reduce manual workload
- Support leadership on projects and other daily tasks.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business or Technical completed or in progress.
- 2+ years of experience in Order Management and/or Supply Chain roles.
- Minimum of B2+ English.
- 1+ SAP Sales & distribution and CRM modules experience.
- 1+ years in data analysis, reporting, or process improvement roles preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in SAP (SD module) or equivalent ERP systems.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemical industry experience is ideal.
- Manufacturing industry or similar industry experience.
- Excel proficiency (Intermediate)
- Transportation planning systems (TMS)
- Lean Six sigma certification.
