How you'll make an impact:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Order to Cash (O2C) Operations Specialist to support reporting, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination. In this role, you will work closely with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to ensure smooth Order to Cash operations, drive data-driven decision-making, and support strategic initiatives. This is a key support role that ensures O2C functions—order management, invoicing, collections, and cash application—are aligned and operating efficiently.

What you'll do:

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain O2C performance reports, including aging reports, DSO trends, collections efficiency, and dispute resolution metrics
  • Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the O2C cycle
  • Provide insights on cash flow, overdue accounts, and billing trends to leadership
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reporting activities

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and other departments to ensure seamless O2C operations
  • Facilitate communication and resolution of issues impacting order processing, invoicing, and collections
  • Track and drive progress on key O2C initiatives, ensuring alignment across teams
  • Assist in coordinating system and process improvements across departments

Process Optimization & Compliance

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
  • Support automation initiatives for reporting, data reconciliation, and other O2C processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX policies, and company procedures
  • Document best practices and create process guides to support cross-functional teams

The Experience you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Order to Cash, Finance Operations, or Business Analytics
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills; proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in SaaS, Technology, or Subscription-based business models
  • Understanding of financial reporting and Order to Cash best practices
  • Knowledge of automation tools for finance operations

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $95,000 - $110,000 annually + applicable bonus. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
