Roles & Responsibilities – Oracle Cloud WMS Architect
- Lead the design and architecture of Oracle Cloud WMS solutions based on business and warehouse requirements.
- Drive end-to-end Oracle Cloud WMS implementations, including solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
- Configure and optimize warehouse management processes such as receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and cycle counting.
- Design integration between Oracle Cloud WMS and Oracle Fusion SCM modules such as Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
- Design and support integrations with 3PL systems, external applications, and warehouse automation systems.
- Work with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, and other integration technologies.
- Define warehouse structures including subinventories, locators, LPNs, inventory organizations, and task management.
- Configure wave planning, task management, replenishment, allocation, and picking strategies.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into WMS functional and technical solutions.
- Lead technical discussions with business stakeholders, functional teams, and integration teams.
- Review integration designs, data flows, and technical specifications.
- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, production issues, and troubleshooting.
- Identify performance and process issues and recommend appropriate WMS solutions.
- Prepare solution design documents, technical specifications, configuration documents, and integration documentation.
- Mentor WMS consultants and provide technical guidance to the implementation team.
Skills Required
- Hands-on Oracle Cloud WMS implementation and solution architecture experience
- Warehouse process design experience, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and cycle counting
- Oracle Cloud WMS configuration experience
- Experience with Oracle Fusion SCM integrations, including Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing
- Experience designing integrations with 3PL systems, external applications, and warehouse automation systems
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs, and FBDI
- Experience configuring warehouse structures, wave planning, task management, replenishment, allocation, and picking strategies
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, deployment, production issues, and troubleshooting
- Ability to create solution design, technical specification, configuration, and integration documentation
- Ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders and mentor WMS consultants
