What You Will Do:
As an Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Specialist you will work to analyze requirements, design, develop, test, deploy, and sustain OBIEE reporting and dashboard capabilities and Extract-Transofrm-Load (ETL) Jobs for our clients. You should have experience of developing Data Integration Interfaces using ODI to extract, transform and load data from various data sources into targets such as Hyperion, data warehouse etc. You should also have experience developing reports in Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) and interest to learn new cloud based technologies like Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
You will help lead our clients and the project team through a structured process to analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy the solutions per client requirements. You will define and execute on a robust plan to ensure all client requirements are met, while leading the team to continuously innovate and streamline the application functionality and data quality assurance/testing process. Our professionals help our clients transform their business processes, improve efficiency of operations, increase transparency and performance management, and to comply with Federal laws and regulations. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals willing to architect, design and develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as the opportunity to enhance their skills in the areas of technical competency, business development, client service and people development.
What You Will Need:
- Experience in eliciting requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and sustainment of ODI, OBIEE reporting, and dashboard capabilities.
- Minimum of SIX (6) years of extensive, hands on, end to end implementation experience using OBIEE, ODI and BI Publisher.
- Minimum Degree: Bachelor's Degree
- Solid understanding of Data Integration tools, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, Data Warehouse (DW), Data Modelling concepts and SQL & PL/SQL.
- Experience in Data Visualization tools and techniques.
- Experience in drafting technical design specifications and test plans.
- Extensive experience with writing complex SQL statements.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both oral and written documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and take solution ownership.
- Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Selected Candidate must be able to work in the Atlanta metro area.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience developing reports and dashboards in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
- Experience in migration or upgrades from OBIEE/OBIA to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)/Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
- Experience in working on Cloud environments such as Azure, Amazon Web Services etc.
- Experience utilizing an issue tracking software such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
- Understanding of Federal Financial Planning and Budgeting Processes
