Oracle Integration Cloud Specialist

Position Overview:

The Oracle Integration Cloud Technical Specialist will support daily operations by addressing help desk issues and providing end-user assistance. The role includes designing, developing, and delivering integrations on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) using various adapters to connect Oracle SaaS and third-party applications.

Required Skills:

• 7 years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications.

• 7 years of experience developing integrations using Oracle SOA, OIC, and other middleware suites.

• 7 years of experience interfacing between Oracle Cloud or ERP and third-party systems.

• 3 years of hands-on development and administration experience with technologies such as OIC and VBCS in a SaaS environment.

• 3 years of experience working with Oracle SaaS modules such as procurement, financials, and/or projects.

• 3 years of experience with REST, API, SOAP, FBDI, PL/SQL, and Oracle Cloud-delivered Web Services.

• Experience with at least one end-to-end Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) implementation project, integrating Oracle SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS solutions.

• Demonstrable ability to leverage pre-built integrations, cloud adapters, connections, and SaaS applications in the solution.

• Hands-on development experience with Oracle Database Cloud Services (DBCS) and Managed File Transfer (MFT).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 10 years of experience in the software field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle Data Integrator is a plus.

Duties:

• Provide day-to-day operational support, including resolving help desk issues and assisting end users.

• Design and develop Oracle integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) with file-based, REST, and SOAP adapters.

• Develop and deliver OIC-based integrations connecting Oracle SaaS and third-party applications.

• Design, develop, test, tune, and implement real-time and batch integrations.

• Evaluate and propose technical design options, finalize optimal solutions, and complete technical design specifications.

• Design and build web services and APIs for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments using OIC.

• Implement integration features such as error handling, auditing, scheduling, deployment, and monitoring within OIC/ICS.

• Utilize OIC components including Mapping, Lookups, Connections, XSLT, Agents, and Packages for integration development.
