Grant Thornton’s Business Consulting consists of Enterprise Applications, Technology, Finance, Operations, Deals and People focus areas. The Enterprise Applications (EA) Practice is responsible for advisory and project implementation services related to Oracle Cloud Applications and Technology in particular, and ERP/HCM applications advisory consultancy more generally.

As an Oracle cloud Recruitment and core Lead Consultant within our team  practice, you will:

  • If you enjoy working on a wide-reaching range of projects that will help businesses and communities flourish, you’ll fit right in. Here are some things you can expect from this Oracle HCM Cloud Recruitment Lead Consultant role.
  • This means doing what’s right even when no one’s looking. The work that you will do has a major impact on our clients and our firm. We pride ourselves on the high-level standards we have for the work that we do. 
  • Within a delivery project you will own the Recruitment solution definition and delivery (in collaboration with other senior sales and delivery leaders), able to use your knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud functionality to design specific client solutions, and to convince customers of the appropriateness of those solutions.  You will be able engage in the detail of recruitment solutions using your experience as a recruitment specialist implementation consultant to both lead teams and deliver specialist activity where needed.
  • You will be able to take responsibility both for all functional aspects of an Oracle Cloud HCM implementation, but also be hands on regarding technical aspects of the implementation including data loading and integration specification. You will also be able to own the interaction with senior customer stakeholders, to understand their requirements and build relationships in which they buy into your solution vision.
  • You will be part of the Enterprise Applications Practice team, taking a key role in leading recruitment solution teams (including both on shore and off shore consultants) in the implementation of your recruitment solutions. You will work collaboratively with the EA practice leaders in defining solutions and with Project Managers, Solutions Architects and implementation consultants in the delivery of customer projects.
  • Your responsibilities will be measured in terms of the successful design and delivery of recruitment projects, and in achieving reference ability of those customers.
  • The EA team is the leading enterprise solutions team within Grant Thornton and your success will be aligned to your ability to build an internal and external brand as an established leader for Oracle Cloud recruitment solutions. Your knowledge will be visible and respected internally within the EA and Business Consulting teams and within Oracle UK’s sales and solution consulting teams.

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Oracle cloud Recruitment Lead Consultant, the minimum criteria you’ll need is relevant Oracle certification in Cloud HCM/recruitment, and multiple years’ experience in similar Consulting/Project roles, covering both successful project delivery and related sales/practice development activity. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.

Your experience will be both as HCM implementation consultant individual contributor, and lead, with strong experience both in terms of solution design and hands on functional and technical delivery. Your experience may be in a mix of implementation and end user roles, but as a minimum you will have undertaken multiple Oracle recruitment implementations with involvement in other modules such as Core HCM, Compensation or payroll.

Here are a few more skills we are looking for:

  • Additional to your project implementation experience in recruitment module, a knowledge of, or background in, the end user aspects of Overall HCM processing and related issues, such that you are able to perform advisory consulting related to Core HCM, Absences and other modules and their interaction with Core HCM and recruitment and best practices in a wider sense
  • Wider Oracle Cloud HCM experience, with Certification in other Oracle Cloud HCM modules
  • Experience of building lasting relationships with C Level and Senior Solution stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications – and a demonstrable track record of being able to use those skills to convince customers regarding your solution vision as part of sales and delivery processes
  • Experience in Project Delivery roles encompassing project leadership and oversight alongside your solution responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel depending on customer requirements, mostly in UK, but throughout Europe & the Middle East if needed.
