The Role

As Oracle HCM Cloud OCI / DB / OIC Technical Engineer within Nokia’s Corporate & Business Applications team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing Oracle Cloud HCM solutions. You will be responsible for Business-as-Usual support, enhancements, and projects.

Responsibilities

OCI Administration & Operations

  • OCI environment administration, networking, and security management
  • Monitoring OCI health using Cloud Guard, upgrades, and patching
  • User access management through OCI groups and policies
  • Key Vault management and PGP key creation
  • Creating secure connections between HCM/BIP, OCI services, and databases
  • OCI services handling, like Object Storage, OCI Data Integration, OCI Functions (Serverless Computing) – including Python scripts, OCI Rules Service, OCI Bastion, SQL Worksheets, Oracle Base Database
  • Hands-on development and support in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise integrations
  • Database upgrades and maintenance
  • Virtual Machine (VM) provisioning, management, and monitoring
  • Operating system patching and server management
  • Hands-on on Linux command line.
  • Working with SQL Developer through Bastion SSH access
  • HCM Extracts and BI Publisher (BIP) reports
  • Using Git for version control 
Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM 
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM design/build, specifically with regards to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure including its different components, Oracle integrations Cloud
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice-To-Have:

  • Experience in HCM Extract, BIP, BICC, GPI, HDL, Fast Formulas, VBS
  • Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g. OCI, OIC, Gen AI)
  • Knowledge of automation tools for code migration, testing automation
  • Experience in Gen AI and AI agents
